As being new to Brown County, and knowing that Nashville is known as an Artist Colony, I thought what better way to experience the arts than to go see them? The Brown County Studio & Garden Tour was just the way, too! This is a self-guided tour that showcases arts & crafts being created in the present day “Art Colony of the Midwest”.
We sent the interns out to take a break and experience a little of Brown County’s artsy side. They attended one of the Wednesday Create a Card classes at Wishful Thinking. They were given an assortment of supplies when they walked in to make their cards, and were surrounded by 8 lovely ladies attending the class, also. Here are their own opinions on the class & their finished products!
The Artist Colony Inn has a monthly Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, A Star is Dead. You are able to enjoy a buffet dinner as the stars walk the red carpet for a movie premiere. I’ve always had a love for crime shows & murder mysteries, so as soon as I heard about the Mystery Murder Dinner Theatre, I knew I had to be in attendance. Being my first time ever attending an event like this I knew my best friend Shelby was the best guest to bring along.
