Brown County Vittles: Kelly’s Favorites

Pulled Pork BBQ Nachos

nachosLove the pulled pork BBQ nachos from Big Woods Brewery!  Crunchy blue tortilla chips piled with pulled pork, black beans, corn, onions, tomatoes and melted cheddar cheese then topped off with barbecue sauce and ranch dressing.  It’s really a unique blend of zesty flavor that leaves me craving it on a regular basis.  Whether shared as an appetizer or eaten as your meal (which I often do), this is a must try when in Brown County!

The Dori

My go-to Brown County comfort food is The Dori at Muddy Boots Cafe.  It’s the perfect combination of rice, vegetables and lots of cheesy goodness.  A simple blend of easy ingredients that is always so fresh and delicious.  At only $5.95, it’s a good deal for a hearty lunch.  They also offer it in a half order, if you’d like it as a side or aren’t feeling too hungry.
